Kazakhstan and Pakistan have agreed to step up their business cooperation

Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry Interested in Expanding Cooperation with Business Community of Kazakhstan, DKNews.kz reports.

At the invitation of the leadership of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan Yerzhan Kistafin visited the FPCCI headquarters.

During the visit, the Ambassador held an interactive session with the leadership and members of the Federation. The session was also attended by Aftab-ur-Rehman Rana, Managing Director of the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation.

The parties discussed issues of further strengthening cooperation between the business communities of the two countries in the B2B format, as well as various areas of interaction. Ambassador Kistafin informed the participants about the work carried out by the Embassy of Kazakhstan to create a favorable regime for the development of business ties between the two countries, as well as for the expansion of trade and investment cooperation.

For their part, the FPCCI leadership briefed on the Federation’s activities, with a particular emphasis on the development of tourism in Pakistan.

As a result of the session, an agreement was reached that the FPCCI will send a delegation to Kazakhstan to explore business opportunities and conduct trade and investment activities.
