Kazakhstan’s low-cost carrier FlyArystan has announced the expansion of its flight program on the Almaty – Yining (Kuldja) – Almaty route, DKNews.kz reports.
In October 2025, the frequency will increase to three flights per week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Currently, flights are operated twice a week: on Thursdays and Sundays.
Yining (Kuldja), located in China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, has deep historical and cultural ties with Kazakhstan. Thanks to its convenient location and sizable Kazakh diaspora, the region remains an important hub of cultural and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Since the launch of the route on May 18, 2025, the flights have consistently attracted strong interest from both Kazakhstani and Chinese travelers. A visa-free regime has been in effect between the two countries since November 10, 2023. In 2024, the Year of Kazakhstan Tourism was held in China, and 2025 has been declared the Year of China Tourism in Kazakhstan. The increase in flight frequency supports the development of interstate relations and opens new opportunities for travelers.
Tickets for Almaty – Yining (Kuldja) flights with departure dates through October 23, 2025, are already available for booking via the FlyArystan mobile app and on the official website www.flyarystan.com.
