UAE highlights the importance of Kazakhstan’s Initiatives in the era of AI

President’s State of the National Address to the People of Kazakhstan Discussed in Abu Dhabi, DKNews.kz reports.

The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the United Arab Emirates hosted a round table dedicated to the State-of-the-Nation Address of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as well as to the prospects for the development of Kazakhstan-UAE relations. The event was attended by representatives of the expert community and leading Emirati media.

Opening the session, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the UAE Rauan Zhumabek highlighted the key priorities of the President’s Address “Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Current Challenges and Their Solutions through Digital Transformation” and provided detailed information to participants on the political and economic reforms being implemented in the country.

Special attention was given to such reform areas as the transition to a unicameral Parliament, the establishment of a separate ministry for artificial intelligence and digital development, economic diversification, construction of nuclear power plants, strengthening of the social sphere, and development of transport and logistics infrastructure.

The Kazakh diplomat emphasized that the implementation of the Address opens wide opportunities for foreign partners and investors, including the creation of joint projects in the mentioned areas.

Round table participants expressed great interest in the transformations underway in Kazakhstan and stressed the relevance of the issues raised by the President in his Address.

Abdulrahim Abdulwahid, owner and CEO of “Media Hub International”, noted that many provisions of the Address reflect contemporary global challenges and open up broad prospects for Kazakhstan-UAE cooperation in the field of information technology and digital communications.

Husniya Al Ali, Educational Consultant at the UAE National Library and Archives, emphasized the importance of Kazakhstan’s initiatives in the digitalization of education and human capital development. According to her, Kazakhstan’s experience in building digital ecosystems can be beneficial for academic and cultural exchange with Emirati partners.

Khaled Mubarak Al Kendi, CEO of the “Emirates Global Education Investment Group” Analytical and Educational Center, noted that the Address’s emphasis on human capital development and the introduction of innovations opens new prospects for joint educational and investment projects.

Mohamed Kamil Al-Muaini, Chairman of the International Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (IICD), underlined that President Tokayev’s Address organically links domestic reforms with the global agenda and demonstrates Kazakhstan’s commitment to the principles of international cooperation. He stressed that cultural diplomacy and humanitarian ties can play an important role in further deepening Kazakhstan-UAE partnership.

In conclusion, participants of the round table noted that the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the UAE harmoniously aligns with the priorities outlined in the President’s Address. It was emphasized that accumulated experience of cooperation in the fields of economy, education, innovation, and culture provides a solid foundation for moving to a new stage of interaction that serves the interests of both nations.
