Kazakhstan Delivered 5,000 Tons of Fuel Oil to Tajikistan through KazAID
On September 30, 2025, a ceremony was held in Dushanbe to hand over humanitarian aid to the Tajikistan.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Tajikistan, V. Turekhanov, presented a certificate for 5,000 tons of fuel oil to the leadership of the Agency for State Material Reserves under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In his remarks, the Kazakh diplomat emphasized that, within the framework of the strategic relations between the two countries, the Government of Kazakhstan had decided to provide the Republic of Tajikistan with humanitarian assistance worth 893.7 million tenge (approximately USD 1.65 million).
The humanitarian aid was provided with the support of the Kazakhstan Agency of International Development (KazAID) and represents a contribution to strengthening energy security, as well as a manifestation of good neighborliness and mutual assistance inherent in Kazakh-Tajik cooperation.
Over the past five years, the volume of humanitarian assistance supplied by Kazakhstan to Tajikistan has exceeded USD 21 million.
