The Republic Day of Kazakhstan for the First Time Celebrated in Algeria, DKNews.kz reports.
As part of the Republic Day celebrations, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Algeria held a Roundtable for the media and business community, as well as a presentation of the country at one of the capital’s prestigious schools.

Representatives of the Algerian business community, journalists, and experts, including the presidents of the Arab-African Centre for Investment and Development, Amin Boutalbi, the “ADB Investment Group”, Abdelhak Bousbia, and the trading company “Trade Bridge Algeria”, Ali Belabes, held a brainstorming session with Kazakh diplomats.
Ambassador Anuarbek Akhmetov spoke in detail to the audience about the Head of State’s key foreign policy and socioeconomic initiatives, outlined in his annual Address to the Nation and from the UN rostrum.

The parties exchanged views on the possibilities to implement the full potential of Kazakh-Algerian trade and economic cooperation and prospects for collaboration in mining, agriculture, energy, digitalization, transport, and tourism. Amin Boutalbi expressed his readiness to promote our country in Algerian and African business circles. Abdelhak Bousbia noted Kazakhstan’s significant investment attractiveness and broad prospects in the digital sector. Ali Belabes spoke with gratitude about his visit to Kazakhstan, organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Algeria, and the agreements reached on the supply of Kazakh goods.
It was noted that the opening of a diplomatic mission in Algeria symbolizes Kazakhstan’s firm commitment to strengthening relations with that country, as well as the Arab world and the African continent as a whole. Astana is interested in taking cooperation with Algeria to the new level and implementing mutually beneficial projects.

At the British School Algiers (one of the capital’s prestigious international schools), the Embassy organized a presentation of Kazakhstan, which was designated as “Country of the Week,” as part of an annual celebration attended by students and their parents.
The event's aim was to introduce Algerian and foreign students, teachers, and diplomats to Kazakhstan's rich culture, traditions, cuisine, and modern achievements.

For this holiday, Kazakh students created and decorated a “Kazakhstan corner” where children, teachers, and guests could see elements of national culture and history: traditional clothing, musical instruments, household items, and symbols of Kazakh statehood and identity.
The Algerian television channel “Samira,” which covers cultural news and events, showed interest in “Kazakhstan corner”. Visitors were particularly delighted by the Kazakh cuisine presented by our citizens working in Algeria.

As a sign of strengthening friendship and developing cultural and humanitarian ties, the Ambassador donated books about Kazakhstan to the school library, including publications on the great Kazakh philosopher Abai Kunanbayev and his poems, as well as on the history, culture, tourism, and modern development of our country.

Ambassador Akhmetov noted that such events allow us to strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of Kazakhstan and Algeria, and also increases youth interest in the history and culture of both countries.

Overall, Algerian businessmen, journalists, teachers, and students congratulated the people of Kazakhstan on the Republic Day, noted our country's significant progress in its development, and expressed gratitude to Kazakh diplomats for the opportunity to become better acquainted with Kazakhstan.
