KTZ students Dinmukhamed Matai and Amir Zhanibek presented their project "Innovative Rail Splicing Technologies" to KTZ, aimed at improving the safety and efficiency of railway infrastructure, DKNews.kz reports.

The 11th-grade students developed four innovative rail splicing technology proposals. All solutions have already been patented in the Republic of Kazakhstan and submitted for international registration in Geneva. The project was also presented at an international competition in New York.

These developments are aimed at reducing noise levels, track wear, and accidents, and also promise significant savings in operating costs.

The company's management praised the engineering approach and expressed its willingness to assist in the development of the project. As part of the agreement reached, KTZ will provide the necessary materials to improve the project and organize a study tour to the rail welding plant in Kurort-Borovoe. During the meeting, the schoolchildren visited the KTZ Central Museum.
