FlyArystan will continue operating direct flights on the Astana – Urumqi – Astana route during the winter season starting from December 1, 2025, DKNews.kz reports.
Flights will be operated twice a week until March 23, 2026, inclusive: from Astana to Urumqi – on Mondays and Saturdays, and return flights – on Tuesdays and Sundays.
For passengers from other cities of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries, convenient connecting flights with FlyArystan through Astana are available – from Almaty, Shymkent, Turkistan, Kostanay, Kyzylorda, and Semey, as well as longer connections from Aktau, Atyrau, Tashkent, and Kutaisi.
The inaugural Astana – Urumqi flight took place on September 21, 2023, marking the beginning of FlyArystan’s operations to China. The route continues to demonstrate stable demand among passengers, and the current visa-free regime between Kazakhstan and China further supports growth in both tourism and business travel. In October of this year, the airline also increased the frequency of flights from Almaty to Yining (Kuldja) to three times per week.
Tickets for the Astana – Urumqi flights are available for booking via the FlyArystan mobile app, the official website www.flyarystan.com, and through other sales channels. The ticket price includes a randomly assigned seat and 5 kg of cabin baggage.
