KazAID participated in the scientific and educational program “Asian Dialogue — 2025”, DKNews.kz reports.
From October 26 to 30, 2025, Armanay Kabdeshova, Press Secretary of KazAID, took part in the international scientific and educational program “Asian Dialogue — 2025”, held in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand.
The program was organized by the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Support Fund (Russian Federation), the ASEAN Centre at MGIMO, and Srinakharinwirot University of the Kingdom of Thailand.
The agenda included lectures, panel discussions, and project work on international relations, public diplomacy, and cooperation within the ASEAN region. The event brought together over 35 researchers and experts from Russia, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, India, and Iran.
As part of the “Mass Communications and Journalism” track, a SWOT analysis of Russia–ASEAN cooperation in the field of information diplomacy was conducted. The analysis identified the strengths and weaknesses of the partnership and proposed ways to enhance collaboration through joint cultural and educational initiatives.
The forum concluded with a cultural program around Bangkok and a certificate award ceremony for participants.
Participation in the “Asian Dialogue — 2025” program helped strengthen professional competencies in international communications and public diplomacy, while expanding KazAID’s partnership network in the Southeast Asian region.
