The official program of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s visit to Washington, D.C. began with a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, and U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asian Affairs Sergio Gor.
During the meeting, the participants exchanged views on key aspects of the bilateral and regional agenda.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that Kazakhstan and the United States have excellent opportunities to further strengthen their strategic partnership through economic cooperation aimed at creating new jobs and supporting industry and entrepreneurship.
The Head of State noted that Kazakhstan maintains active political engagement with the United States at various levels and stands ready to pursue a constructive dialogue to deepen multifaceted cooperation.
