Kazakhstan is developing an electric aviation ecosystem in partnership with BETA Technologies

The Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan  has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with U.S.-based aerospace company BETA Technologies (NYSE: BETA) aimed at fostering cooperation in information technology and electric aviation, DKNews.kz reports.

The agreement outlines collaboration on the pilot projects, the promotion of innovative solutions in the fields of electric aircraft, intelligent transport systems, and advanced mobility technologies.

“Kazakhstan is consistently developing new technology sectors and creating an environment for innovation. Working with BETA Technologies will strengthen our regional leadership and open new opportunities for smart and sustainable transportation,” said Zhaslan Madiyev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The signing of the Memorandum took place as part of the business program of the C5+1 Business Conference in Washington, where the prospects for cooperation between the Central Asian countries and the United States in the fields of technology and sustainable development are being discussed.
