National Payment Corporation Launches Online Document Signing Service for Legal Entities, DKNews.kz reports.

The Joint Stock Company National Payment Corporation of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan has announced the launch of an innovative online document signing service using a cloud-based digital signature (CDS) for legal entities.

Developed as part of the National Digital Financial Infrastructure Project, the service emphasizes transparency, efficiency, and legal reliability in digital financial interactions, marking another significant step in Kazakhstan’s digital transformation.

The issuance of the CDS is handled through the accredited Certification Center of JSC “NPC”, whose cryptographic keys meet all national legal requirements and comply with international RFC standards. The entire process — from issuance to signing — takes only a few minutes.

With the new system, legal entities no longer need physical storage devices, software installation, or complex configurations. All that’s required is a smartphone and Internet access to complete multi-factor authentication (biometrics plus SMS verification or password). The service operates 24/7, giving users secure and convenient access at any time.

Once a CDS is issued, legal entities can sign documents from anywhere in the world. All documents signed through the service have full legal validity and comply with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

“The introduction of this service contributes to strengthening trust in the digital environment, increasing the efficiency of document management, and promoting innovative development,” said Chairwoman of the Management Board of the National Payment Corporation, Zhanar Samaeva. “We will continue implementing new approaches for interaction between the state, businesses, and citizens, ensuring transparency and efficiency of operations and payments.”

The launch of this service represents a major milestone in the evolution of Kazakhstan’s digital financial ecosystem, enabling businesses to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and operate with greater confidence in a secure and transparent digital environment.
