The Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Clearbrook Energy Solutions (CES), and AG-Tech have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) manufacturing and assembly plant in Kazakhstan, DKNews.kz reports.
The signing took place on the sidelines of the C5+1 Business Conference in Washington, D.C. The project marks an important step in Kazakhstan’s energy transition, enhancing energy security and enabling greater integration of renewable energy sources. The total investment is estimated at USD 350 million. Clearbrook will provide technologies for energy storage and virtual power plants, while AG-Tech will ensure localization and integration of digital energy management systems.
