Kazakhstan and North Macedonia Strengthen Inter-Parliamentary Dialogue, DKNews.kz reports.
Ambassador of Kazakhstan in North Macedonia Satybaldy Burshakov met with Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy and Foreign Trade of the Assembly (Parliament) of North Macedonia Musa Dzaferi.
During the meeting in a friendly atmosphere, mutual interest was expressed in further strengthening Kazakh-Macedonian interparliamentary ties.
Kazakh Diplomat acquainted M.Dzaferi with the political and economic reforms consistently implemented in our country under the leadership of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and informed on the competitive advantages of Kazakhstan, noting its resource base and diversified foreign trade, covering neighboring and other countries, including the European Union. In this context, specific ideas and initiatives aimed at expanding economic cooperation in areas of bilateral interest were discussed.
Facilitation of the visa regime for travelers of both countries, promotion of tourism and bringing peoples closer together was mentioned as an important area of further work.
M. Dzaferi welcomed the opening of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Skopje, emphasizing its importance for the activation and development of bilateral multifaceted cooperation between Kazakhstan and North Macedonia.
The parties confirmed their desire to strengthen parliamentary ties through bilateral visits by representatives of the foreign affairs committees, as well as parliamentary cooperation groups.
