KRJC and JICA supported training for KNAU students in advanced agrotechnologies

November 28, 2025, Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic - A seminar on digital and green transformation was held at the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K. I. Skryabin, organized by the Kazakhstan Agency of International Development (KazAID) in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Kyrgyz-Japanese Center for Human Development (KRJC), and KNAU, DKNews.kz reports.

The event brought together representatives of government agencies, teachers, and students interested in modern approaches to sustainable agricultural development and the implementation of digital technologies.

Professor Hideo Hasegawa of Niigata University (Japan) presented environmentally friendly technologies in agriculture, including deep fertilization and sustainable soil management methods. Amanat Umbetbayev, Managing Director and Member of the Board of JSC NK Kazakhstan Garish Sapary, demonstrated the potential of using satellite data to monitor natural resources and identify unused land.

The seminar served as a platform for sharing experiences, discussing cutting-edge technologies, and expanding cooperation in the field of sustainable development.
