NFA Expo-2025 in Almaty brought together 127 companies from 9 countries and showcased global trends in non-food retail, DKNews.kz reports.

The 4th International Consumer Goods Exhibition NFA Expo-2025 was held with great success at the “Atakent” Kazakhstan Center for Business Cooperation, becoming a key event of the year for manufacturers, retailers and marketplaces across Central Asia.

From November 26 to 28, 2025, the main regional platform gathered 127 companies from 9 countries, including producers from Kazakhstan, China, Italy, Turkey, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Latvia and Uzbekistan, providing participants with unprecedented opportunities to enter international markets and secure new contracts.

The exhibition generated strong interest among industry professionals: over the three days it welcomed around 5,000 visitors. The intensive business program included more than 300 B2B meetings as part of the buyer program and three presentations in the Demonstration Zone, serving as an effective tool for finding new purchasers and distributors.

Exhibition Director Zhanar Abilova emphasized the scale and novelty of this year’s exposition:

“During our tour of the exhibition, we and our guests familiarized ourselves with products presented by leading companies, including manufacturers of household chemicals, kitchenware, glass products, cosmetics and home goods. International visitors noted the strong potential of the venue for developing contract manufacturing, promoting non-commodity exports and expanding Kazakhstan’s trade ties with other countries in the region.”

This year NFA Expo offered an exceptionally wide range of products including home solutions, contemporary kitchenware, household appliances, cosmetics and perfumes, cleaning products, children’s goods, interior items, festive products, and goods for leisure and gardening.

A new feature of the exhibition was the Retail Tech section, where participants showcased IT services, technological equipment and digital tools for the retail sector.

Special emphasis was placed on the development of private label brands. More than half of participating companies offered retailers contracts to produce private-label goods. This trend reflects rising demand for high-quality and affordable product lines. According to NielsenIQ, the share of private label products in Kazakhstan has nearly doubled over the past three years, and more than 60% of consumers choose such products at least once a month.

The stands featured global product innovations ranging from professional cutting boards made from antimicrobial thermoplastic and premium household chemicals to Ayurvedic products and collections of artistic glassware.

Exhibitors noted that this platform enables companies to secure their first export contracts to enter Central Asian markets. Over its three days, NFA Expo-2025 became a major hub for manufacturers, buyers and international retail chains. The exhibition strengthened its status as the largest platform in the region for developing trade, retail and the non-food goods industry.

Following the success of NFA Expo-2025, the key event for the sector is set to continue: next year, the exhibition will take place from November 25 to 27.
