Kazakhstan’s low-cost carrier FlyArystan announces the launch of special fares for the carriage of ski equipment on flights to the East Kazakhstan Region. The initiative is aimed at supporting winter tourism and the development of ski resorts in the region, DKNews.kz reports.
From 15 December 2025 to 31 March 2026, which also constitutes the travel period, the fee for the carriage of ski and snowboard equipment is KZT 990 instead of KZT 10,000.
The promotion applies to flights on the following routes:
- Almaty – Ust-Kamenogorsk – Almaty;
- Astana – Ust-Kamenogorsk – Astana.
The following items are permitted for carriage:
Ski equipment, packed in one bag, including:
- one pair of skis;
- one pair of ski poles;
- one pair of ski boots;
- one ski helmet.
Snowboard equipment, packed in one bag, including:
- one snowboard;
- one pair of boots;
- one ski helmet.
The sports equipment carriage service can be purchased up to 24 hours before departure via the FlyArystan mobile app or on the official website under the “Manage Your Booking” section. The airline recommends that passengers review the terms and conditions for the carriage of sports equipment in advance and purchase the service before arriving at the airport.
Prices may be subject to minor fluctuations depending on exchange rate changes.
