According to Trump, the leaders discussed a wide range of pressing international issues during the call. Particular attention was paid to the settlement of ongoing conflicts as well as prospects for strengthening global security. Another key topic was the development of trade and economic cooperation and the expansion of bilateral ties between the United States and Kazakhstan.
The American president emphasized the importance of further deepening the partnership and expressed interest in expanding cooperation in trade and investment. In this context, Trump said he intends to invite Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to take part in the G20 summit, which is expected to be held next year in Miami.
It was previously reported that the phone conversation between the presidents of the United States and Kazakhstan lasted for a considerable time and was substantive in nature. At the end of the call, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in turn, invited Donald Trump to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan at a time convenient for him, stressing readiness for continued dialogue and the strengthening of bilateral relations.
