Kazakhstan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yermek Kosherbayev, held a meeting with Ambassador of Croatia Refik Šabanović to discuss the development of bilateral relations, DKNews.kz reports.
During the talks, the sides focused on strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade and economic cooperation, and supporting cultural and educational exchanges.
Special attention was paid to economic and investment projects, as well as to enhancing cooperation in transport and logistics. These areas are seen as key drivers for boosting mutual trade and expanding business ties.
The parties also exchanged views on the schedule of bilateral events planned for 2026, including preparations for visits at the highest and high levels. In particular, they highlighted the importance of a possible visit by the Prime Minister of Croatia to Astana, which is expected to give an additional boost to relations.
At the end of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining a substantive dialogue and further deepening comprehensive cooperation between Astana and Zagreb.
