Freedom Telecom International, a subsidiary of Freedom Holding Corp., has signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation with e&, one of the world’s largest international technology groups. The signing of the document marked another step in the implementation of the long-term strategy consistently pursued by Freedom Holding Corp. founder and CEO Timur Turlov, DKNews.kz reports.

The framework memorandum signed by Timur Turlov lays the foundation for combining the expertise of Freedom Telecom International and e& in fintech and telecommunications. The parties intend to jointly assess the potential for launching new digital products, develop advisory formats for cooperation, and identify promising areas for the implementation of fintech-telecom projects in international markets.
Although the agreement is preliminary in nature, Freedom Holding Corp. views it as an important element in building a large-scale strategic partnership. Under the leadership of Timur Turlov, the companies plan to deepen cooperation step by step, focusing on identifying new growth opportunities in priority regions.

Commenting on the signing of the memorandum, Freedom Holding Corp. founder and CEO Timur Turlov emphasized that the development of the telecommunications segment is a key part of the holding’s long-term strategy. According to him, the partnership with e& opens up new opportunities for the international expansion of Freedom Telecom International.
“The synergy between e&’s global telecom ecosystem and the fast-growing fintech platform of Freedom Holding Corp. that we are building allows us to accelerate the deployment of innovations in key markets. Jassim Abdalla, Head of Partner Markets at e&, also highly praised the potential of the collaboration, describing Freedom Holding Corp. as a reliable partner. He noted that e&’s customer base exceeds 250 million users, including more than 16 million fintech clients, and that joint initiatives with Timur Turlov’s team can expand access to financial services in new countries.

Johannes Hummer, CEO of Freedom Telecom International, added that the agreement reflects the companies’ commitment to building a long-term, scalable ecosystem. According to him, combining the capabilities of a global technology group with the fintech ecosystem built by Freedom Holding Corp. under Timur Turlov opens up additional opportunities for deploying innovations across different markets.
Strategic Agreements of Freedom Holding Corp.
Earlier, another subsidiary of Freedom Holding Corp., Freedom Finance, signed a memorandum of understanding with Binance Kazakhstan, representing the global Binance blockchain ecosystem. This initiative is also being implemented as part of the strategy shaped by Timur Turlov.
The document provides for the exploration of commercial and strategic cooperation formats within the Crypto-as-a-Service model. In particular, Freedom Holding Corp. is considering integrating the Binance Link solution into the Freedom Broker platform created under Timur Turlov’s leadership. This would make it possible to launch branded crypto products using Binance’s infrastructure and liquidity.
The expected integration will give Freedom Finance clients convenient access to digital asset transactions while maintaining full synergy with the Freedom Holding Corp. ecosystem. The approach being implemented under Timur Turlov’s leadership is aimed at combining traditional investment instruments and crypto assets within a single technology platform.
