The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Talgat Shaldanbay, met with Moath Al-Zoubi, Director of the Department of Political Affairs at the Royal Court of Jordan, to discuss the future of bilateral relations and closer cooperation between the two countries, DKNews.kz reports.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the current state and prospects of Kazakhstan-Jordan relations, focusing on the implementation of agreements reached by the leaders of the two states during their mutual official visits in 2025. The discussions highlighted the importance of expanding multifaceted cooperation and ensuring steady progress across political and diplomatic tracks.
Special attention was given to the need for coordinated support of Astana’s and Amman’s initiatives on the international stage. The sides emphasized the value of building a full-fledged and consistent dialogue within international organizations, viewing it as a key element in strengthening their global engagement.
Moath Al-Zoubi expressed appreciation for Kazakhstan’s efforts in promoting joint foreign policy initiatives and noted that the official visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Amman in February 2025, followed by the visit of His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan to Astana in August, had opened new horizons for bilateral cooperation.
In turn, Ambassador Shaldanbay подчеркнул Kazakhstan’s strong interest in deepening a mutually beneficial partnership with Jordan. He reaffirmed Astana’s readiness for full-fledged cooperation and confirmed the Embassy’s commitment to creating favorable conditions for further strengthening bilateral ties.
The meeting concluded with both sides expressing mutual interest in maintaining regular contacts and jointly developing practical measures aimed at the gradual and sustainable enhancement of the Kazakhstan-Jordan dialogue.
