The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has adopted a written declaration titled “Support for Kazakhstan’s Democratic Reforms and Regional Leadership”, recognizing the country’s ongoing political transformation and its growing role in the region, DKNews.kz reports.

The declaration was authored by British parliamentarian Michael German, a member of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe. It was signed by 21 members of PACE, representing different political groups, highlighting broad cross-party support for Kazakhstan’s reform agenda within the Assembly.
According to the document, Kazakhstan has demonstrated a consistent and firm commitment to implementing large-scale democratic reforms, strengthening its position as a regional leader in democratic governance.
