In line with the priorities of economic diplomacy focused on attracting foreign investment and advanced technologies, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the Czech Republic continues to actively support the development of business ties between the two countries, DKNews.kz reports.
As part of his first official engagements with the Czech business community, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Kairat Abdrakhmanov held meetings with representatives of leading Czech industrial companies. Among them were engineering manufacturers TATRA and ZETOR, mining equipment producer FERRIT, industrial machinery company ZVVZ Engineering, and SKLOSTROJ, a supplier of equipment for container glass production.

Czech Business Shows Strong Interest in Kazakhstan
During the meetings, Czech entrepreneurs expressed satisfaction with their existing cooperation with Kazakh partners and confirmed their interest in expanding joint projects. They were also briefed on ongoing measures to further improve Kazakhstan’s investment climate, being implemented as part of a new stage of national modernization initiated and led by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The Czech side noted that Kazakhstan remains an attractive and перспективе-oriented market for long-term industrial cooperation.

Focus on Localization and Joint Production
Kazakh diplomats were presented with detailed information on the current status of ongoing projects, as well as on opportunities to establish joint production facilities and localize manufacturing in several regions of Kazakhstan.
Special attention was given to advanced technologies offered by Czech companies in various industrial sectors. In particular, modern solutions in the mining industry were highlighted as key tools for increasing production efficiency, operational reliability, and workplace safety.

Practical Agreements Reached
Following the meetings, the parties agreed to:
- organize visits to production facilities of Czech companies in different regions of the Czech Republic;
- begin preparations for joint business forums;
- maintain regular exchanges of information on potential investment projects and cooperation opportunities.
Experts note that such contacts contribute to strengthening Kazakh–Czech industrial partnership and create a solid foundation for launching new joint initiatives in manufacturing, technology, and investment.
