The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of North Macedonia has marked the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with a number of countries and international organizations, including Kazakhstan, DKNews.kz reports.
The anniversary highlights three decades of diplomatic engagement with key partners. Alongside Kazakhstan, the list includes Australia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Greece, India, Israel, Lithuania, Moldova, Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, Romania, Ukraine, and the United States, as well as the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and the Council of Europe.
Three Decades of Cooperation and Dialogue
According to the North Macedonian foreign ministry, the past 30 years have laid a strong foundation for political dialogue, economic cooperation, and multilateral engagement with these partners. The anniversary serves as an opportunity to reflect on shared achievements and the evolution of diplomatic ties over time.
Officials also emphasized the importance of diplomacy in strengthening mutual trust, international stability, and long-term partnerships amid a rapidly changing global environment.
Kazakhstan Among Key Partners
Kazakhstan was highlighted as an important partner for North Macedonia in the Eurasian region. Over the years, bilateral relations have steadily developed across political, economic, and humanitarian areas, with both countries supporting each other within international organizations.
Experts note that such milestone anniversaries not only mark past accomplishments but also create momentum for further expansion of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, based on shared interests and mutual respect.
