The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Georgia has held a regular working meeting with Honorary Consuls accredited across various regions of the country, underscoring Astana’s focus on strengthening bilateral ties at the regional level, DKNews.kz reports.
During the meeting, the Honorary Consuls presented detailed reports on their activities in the second half of 2025. Particular attention was paid to efforts aimed at protecting the rights and interests of Kazakhstani citizens and organizations, as well as promoting trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kazakhstan and Georgia.
Focus on practical results and future priorities
Participants highlighted concrete outcomes achieved over the reporting period, noting growing interest in business cooperation, cultural exchanges and people-to-people contacts. The discussion also centered on plans for the upcoming year, with an emphasis on defining clear priorities and practical steps to enhance effectiveness on the ground.
The Embassy stressed the importance of a proactive regional approach, pointing out that Honorary Consuls play a key role in expanding Kazakhstan’s visibility and engagement beyond the capital cities.
