Efes Kazakhstan has officially launched a new high-tech bottling line at its plant in the village of Bereke in the Almaty region, marking a significant milestone in the company’s long-term investment strategy in Kazakhstan. The total investment in the project amounted to USD 4 million, DKNews.kz reports.
The new German-made bottling line significantly enhances local production capacity and supports Anadolu Efes’ strategic focus on technological development and sustainable growth. The launch underscores the company’s continued commitment to Kazakhstan as a key market within its international operations.

Advanced technology and environmental efficiency
The newly installed bottling line integrates cutting-edge digital solutions and technologies designed to reduce environmental impact. It was developed in line with the highest international quality standards and is fully automated, featuring modern control and maintenance modules.
These upgrades improve product quality and ensure compliance with strict global requirements. As a result of the new line’s commissioning, Efes Kazakhstan has increased its production capacity by 25% and reduced format changeover time by 30%, enabling the company to respond more flexibly and efficiently to market demand.
Kazakhstan as a strategic hub for Anadolu Efes
The official opening ceremony was attended by Anadolu Efes Chief Executive Officer Onur Alturk, business partners, and representatives of both central and local government authorities, highlighting the project’s importance at both corporate and national levels.

“Anadolu Efes has been investing in Kazakhstan for decades, pursuing a long-term approach based on the principles of sustainable growth. This latest investment in a new bottling line strengthens our production capabilities and improves resource efficiency, while reinforcing Kazakhstan’s role as one of the key hubs for our international operations and export activities,” said Onur Alturk.
Greater flexibility and export potential
According to company executives, the new bottling line allows Efes Kazakhstan to respond more quickly and flexibly to changing market needs, while also supporting the strategy to further develop local production and expand export capacity.

“The new line enables Efes Kazakhstan to react faster and more flexibly to market demand, while supporting our strategy to further develop local production and export potential. It represents an important step forward in improving operational efficiency — through faster changeovers, higher productivity, and stronger cooperation with our partners and stakeholders in Kazakhstan,” said Ertan Kurt, Head of International Business at Anadolu Efes.
A long-term commitment to Kazakhstan
The investment in the new bottling line further strengthens Efes Kazakhstan’s position as one of the leaders in the country’s brewing industry and confirms Anadolu Efes’ long-term commitment to developing Kazakhstan as a strategically important market.
The launch of the new line in Bereke reflects not only expanded production capacity, but also Anadolu Efes’ confidence in Kazakhstan’s industrial potential and its continued focus on sustainable, technology-driven growth.
