Kazakhstan’s special operations units made a powerful statement on the international stage, finishing the first day of the UAE SWAT Challenge with outstanding results. The tournament is taking place in Dubai, UAE, and brings together 109 elite special forces teams from 48 countries. Remarkably, all four teams representing Kazakhstan secured places in the top ten after the opening day, DKNews.kz reports.

This achievement immediately placed Kazakhstan among the main contenders of the competition and drew attention from both participants and observers.

Kazakhstan dominates the leaderboard

After the first day of competition, the standings highlight Kazakhstan’s exceptional performance:

  • Kazakhstan C leads the overall leaderboard
  • Kazakhstan D holds second place
  • Kazakhstan B is ranked fourth
  • Kazakhstan A completes the top ten in tenth place

Seeing four teams from one country simultaneously competing at the very top of such a high-level international tournament is a rare occurrence and a clear sign of consistent training and tactical excellence.

Tomiris team leads among women

Special recognition goes to the women’s national team Tomiris. The team currently holds 20th place in the overall ranking while confidently leading among all women’s teams participating in the tournament. This result underlines the strong presence and competitiveness of Kazakhstan’s female special forces on the global stage.

United under one national flag

Kazakhstan’s teams are composed of the best operatives drawn together under a single national flag. Their ranks include elite personnel from:

  • the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan
  • the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan
  • the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan

This unified approach, combining expertise from different agencies, has proven to be one of the key strengths behind the teams’ success, especially in a competition where coordination, trust, and split-second decision-making are critical.

Tough stages still ahead

The UAE SWAT Challenge spans five competition days and will conclude on February 11. Ahead lie the most demanding stages, testing physical endurance, shooting accuracy, tactical movement, and flawless teamwork.

The opening day has already shown that Kazakhstan did not come to Dubai merely to participate. The teams set a high tempo and demonstrated that they are ready to fight for the top positions until the very end.

We wish all Kazakhstan’s teams continued success in the remaining stages of the tournament.

Forward, Kazakhstan!
