Tokayev reaffirmed the course toward developing relations with Japan

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has sent a congratulatory telegram to Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on the occasion of the victory of the Liberal Democratic Party in the parliamentary elections, DKNews.kz reports.

In his message, the President of Kazakhstan noted the high level of support demonstrated by voters for the political course and program of the party.

The telegram highlights the significance of the achieved result for Japan’s further development.

“Undoubtedly, such a convincing result confirms the broad support of your fellow citizens for your wise policies and the political platform of the party you lead. I am confident that your tireless efforts and initiatives aimed at ensuring a bright future for the people will open the way for the country to achieve even more impressive accomplishments.”

Focus on bilateral cooperation

The President of Kazakhstan also emphasized the importance of developing partnership-based relations between the two countries.

He warmly recalled his official visit to Japan, during which agreements were reached that helped elevate bilateral cooperation to a new level.

Readiness to further deepen relations

The congratulatory message reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s readiness to continue active engagement with Japan.

This includes maintaining the strong momentum of cooperation and expanding the partnership across key areas of mutual interest.
