Passengers travelling to and from Astana have been advised of temporary changes to flight schedules due to planned runway maintenance at Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport, DKNews.kz reports.
Airport authorities say the work is necessary to ensure safety and maintain operational standards.
Temporary runway closure period
According to the official notice, the runway will be closed daily during specific hours over a six-week period.
The restrictions will apply:
- from April 15 to May 31
- daily between 10:00 and 18:00
- affecting both departing and arriving flights
As a result, airlines will reschedule flights to earlier morning or later evening time slots.

Travelers are advised to:
