Air Astana, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, has announced a series of repatriation flights to return Kazakh citizens from Jeddah amid the unstable situation in the Middle East, DKNews.kz reports.
The flights are scheduled for March 7, 8, and 9 and will transport passengers first to Atyrau, with connecting services to Almaty.
Airline representatives say the schedule may be adjusted depending on developments in the region.
Repatriation flights on March 7
The first evacuation flights will depart from Jeddah on March 7 and arrive in Atyrau later the same evening or early the following day.
The planned services include:
- KC2228 Jeddah – Atyrau, departure 13:45, arrival 22:05
- KC2234 Jeddah – Atyrau, departure 16:15, arrival 00:35 (March 8)
- KC2226 Jeddah – Atyrau, departure 16:55, arrival 01:15 (March 8)
Connecting flights from Atyrau to Almaty
Passengers arriving in Atyrau will continue their journey to Almaty on early-morning flights scheduled for March 8.
These flights include:
- KC8860 Atyrau – Almaty, departure 00:05, arrival 03:00
- KC8840 Atyrau – Almaty, departure 02:35, arrival 05:30
- KC3180 Atyrau – Almaty, departure 03:15, arrival 06:10
Additional flights on March 8
Further repatriation flights from Jeddah to Atyrau are scheduled on March 8.
The services include:
- KC2236 Jeddah – Atyrau, departure 13:45, arrival 22:05
- KC2238 Jeddah – Atyrau, departure 15:05, arrival 23:25
Air Astana will also operate additional evacuation flights on the same day.
These flights include:
- KC2242 Jeddah – Atyrau, departure 16:15, arrival 00:35
- KC2246 Jeddah – Atyrau, departure 16:50, arrival 01:10
Passengers arriving on these flights will continue to Almaty on the following services:
- KC8780 Atyrau – Almaty, departure 02:35, arrival 05:30
- KC8900 Atyrau – Almaty, departure 02:10, arrival 05:05
Final flights scheduled for March 9
The last group of connecting flights from Atyrau to Almaty will operate on March 9.
These include:
- KC8860 Atyrau – Almaty, departure 00:05, arrival 03:00
- KC8840 Atyrau – Almaty, departure 01:25, arrival 04:20
