President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has condemned missile strikes and drone attacks launched from Iranian territory against the United Arab Emirates, DKNews.kz reports.
The attacks resulted in casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure, raising serious concerns about the security situation in the Middle East.
Attacks increase regional tensions
According to the President, such actions lead to a dangerous escalation of tensions and may have serious consequences for regional stability.
Tokayev stressed that attacks targeting civilian facilities and population centers are unacceptable.
“Head of State considers such actions unacceptable, since they lead to a dangerous escalation of the armed conflict in the Middle East,” the statement said.
Experts note that the latest developments may further complicate the already fragile security environment in the region.
Kazakhstan calls for diplomatic solutions
The President emphasized that international disputes should be resolved exclusively through peaceful means and diplomatic dialogue.
Tokayev reiterated that diplomacy remains the most effective way to address conflicts and prevent further escalation.
“According to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the use of diplomatic means is the only correct method for resolving all disputed international issues,” the statement noted.
