Kazakhstan showcased its culture through cinema in Geneva

Kazakh Film Week took place in Geneva, bringing Kazakhstan’s cinema and cultural heritage to an international audience, DKNews.kz reports.

The event was organized by the Permanent Mission of Kazakhstan to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva, in collaboration with the national film studio Qazaqfilm and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information.

Films reflecting history and identity

The program featured three films:

  • “Dawn of the Great Steppe”
  • “The Composer”
  • “Amre”

Each of them highlighted important moments in Kazakhstan’s history, as well as its spiritual values and rich cultural traditions.

Through these stories, international audiences were introduced to the depth and diversity of Kazakh culture.
