ExxonMobil remains one of the key investors in Kazakhstan’s energy sector

First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Ashikbayev held a meeting with Senior Director for International Government Relations of ExxonMobil Yuri Kim, DKNews.kz reports.

The sides discussed ExxonMobil’s current activities in Kazakhstan, as well as prospects for expanding investment cooperation and implementing joint projects in the energy sector.

Kazakhstan highlights ExxonMobil’s role in energy sector

During the meeting, Yerzhan Ashikbayev emphasized ExxonMobil’s important contribution to the development of Kazakhstan’s energy industry.

He also expressed interest in further strengthening mutually beneficial partnership and expanding long-term cooperation with the company.

Senior Director Yuri Kim confirmed ExxonMobil’s readiness to continue cooperation with Kazakhstan and increase investments in the country’s economy.

Focus on long-term investment cooperation

The talks reflected Kazakhstan’s continued efforts to attract foreign investment into strategic sectors, including oil and gas, energy infrastructure and industrial development.

ExxonMobil remains one of the major international energy companies operating in Kazakhstan and has participated in several large-scale oil and gas projects in the country.
