We invite you to discover Almaty – the city of sunshine, mountains, and hospitality – together with FlyArystan and Visit Almaty.»
Showcasing Almaty to Chinese Travelers
During the event, FlyArystan presented its flight schedule and the advantages of the new direct service.

Janar Jailauova, Director of Marketing & Communication at FlyArystan, said the airline views international expansion as more than simply launching new routes.
«For FlyArystan, expanding our international route network is about more than launching new flights – it is about building long-term partnerships. The roadshow in Xi'an provided an important platform for direct dialogue with Chinese tour operators and travel agencies. We had the opportunity to discuss the potential of the new Almaty – Xi'an route in detail, as well as joint initiatives to attract more travelers. We are confident that meetings like these will give a strong boost to inbound tourism.»
New Travel Products Discussed
The business program concluded with a series of B2B meetings, during which tourism companies explored opportunities to:
- Develop new travel packages
- Expand cooperation between tour operators
- Increase tourist flows between Kazakhstan and China
- Promote joint tourism initiatives
The discussions focused on practical steps to strengthen long-term collaboration between the tourism industries of both countries.

Direct Flights Operate Twice a Week
FlyArystan currently operates scheduled flights between Almaty and Xi'an twice a week.
The schedule includes:
- Almaty – Xi'an: Tuesdays and Fridays
- Xi'an – Almaty: Wednesdays and Saturdays
The direct service is expected to further support tourism, business travel, and cultural exchanges between Kazakhstan and China.

Why This Matters
The Xi'an roadshow reflects Kazakhstan's broader efforts to attract more visitors from China by combining expanded air connectivity with targeted tourism promotion.
As visa-free travel and direct flights continue to improve accessibility, closer cooperation between airlines, tourism authorities, and travel companies is expected to boost inbound tourism and strengthen economic ties between the two countries.
