Kazakhstan prepares for first public eVTOL flight in Astana.
Astana will host Kazakhstan's first demonstration flight of an electric air taxi on July 24, 2026, marking another milestone in the country's efforts to develop Urban Air Mobility (UAM). The event will take place at the Kazanat Hippodrome, where visitors will witness a demonstration of next-generation electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) technology, DKNews.kz reports.
AutoFlight Prosperity to take to the skies
The demonstration will feature the AutoFlight Prosperity passenger eVTOL aircraft.
The aircraft is designed to carry:
- One pilot
- Five passengers
Its key performance characteristics include:
- Maximum speed of up to 200 km/h
- Flight range of up to 200 km
The demonstration is being organized by Kazakhstan's private company Alatau Advance Air Group Ltd. (AAAG) in partnership with China's AutoFlight.

The upcoming flight follows Kazakhstan's first successful eVTOL demonstrations held in Alatau City in May 2026.
