The all-electric Cayenne has officially entered the Kazakh market. Prices for the most powerful production Porsche in the brand’s history reach 94 million tenge, DKNews.kz reports.

The importer plans to deliver just 14 vehicles to Kazakhstan by the end of 2026. Five were sold before the official launch.

How much does the electric Porsche Cayenne cost?

The new Cayenne will be offered in SUV and Coupé body styles. Each is available in three versions:

  • Cayenne Electric — from 60 million tenge;
  • Cayenne S Electric — from 73 million tenge;
  • Cayenne Turbo Electric — from 94 million tenge.

The vehicle comes with a two-year warranty, while the high-voltage battery is covered by an eight-year factory warranty.

The first Kazakh allocation comprises nine SUVs and five Coupés. The first Coupé models are expected to arrive in September 2026.

“The new Cayenne remains a true Porsche — dynamic, comfortable and practical. The electric platform does not change the model’s character but takes it further, offering a new level of power, range, charging speed and digital technology. Sales recorded even before the vehicle’s official launch confirm that demand for the electric Cayenne has already emerged in Kazakhstan,” said Gaukhar Gabdrakhimova, Director of Porsche Kazakhstan.

Porsche is not abandoning combustion engines. The electric model joins existing Cayenne versions powered by internal-combustion engines and plug-in hybrid systems.

From 408 to 1,156 horsepower

Every version features two electric motors — one on each axle — and the Porsche Traction Management electronic all-wheel-drive system.

The entry-level Cayenne Electric produces 408 hp, rising to 442 hp with Launch Control. It accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 230 km/h.

Its WLTP driving range is up to 642 kilometres.

The Cayenne S Electric delivers 544 hp, or 666 hp with Launch Control. It reaches 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and offers a range of up to 653 kilometres.

The headline figure is 1,156 hp. That is the peak output of the Cayenne Turbo Electric when Launch Control is activated.

Torque reaches 1,500 Nm. The electric SUV accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and hits 200 km/h in 7.4 seconds.

The Turbo has a top speed of 260 km/h and a WLTP range of up to 623 kilometres. It is now the most powerful production Porsche ever built.

The S and Turbo versions use direct oil cooling for the rear electric motor. Derived from motorsport, the technology helps the powertrain maintain high performance under sustained loads.

Up to 325 kilometres of range in 10 minutes

All versions use a 113 kWh high-voltage battery. Their 800-volt architecture supports DC charging at up to 390 kW, rising to 400 kW under certain conditions.

At a compatible fast-charging station, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in under 16 minutes. A 10-minute stop can add up to 325 kilometres of range to the base Cayenne or 315 kilometres to the Turbo.

For Kazakhstan, the main constraint will be access to charging stations capable of delivering such power. Without suitable infrastructure, ultra-fast charging will remain a technical capability rather than an everyday advantage.

The regenerative braking system operates at up to 600 kW — a figure comparable with Formula E racing cars. In everyday driving, the electric motors handle around 97% of all braking, with the mechanical brakes engaging only when necessary.

A larger and more practical Cayenne

The Cayenne Electric is built on a new electric platform. It is 55 mm longer than the combustion-engine model, while its wheelbase has grown by almost 13 centimetres.

The extra length creates more room for passengers in the second row. The main luggage compartment offers between 781 and 1,588 litres of space, while a 90-litre storage compartment sits under the bonnet.

Depending on specification, the electric Cayenne can tow up to 3.5 tonnes. That is a significant practicality benchmark for a premium electric SUV.

Adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management comes as standard. The Cayenne S and Turbo can also be fitted with Porsche Active Ride, which almost completely counters body roll and pitch.

Rear-wheel steering is available across the range. The rear wheels can turn by up to five degrees, improving manoeuvrability in the city and stability at higher speeds.

More screens and less drag

The Cayenne retains its familiar proportions but gains a more aerodynamic body. A low bonnet, slim matrix LED headlights and frameless doors help reduce the SUV’s drag coefficient to 0.25.

Porsche Active Aerodynamics automatically adjusts the air-intake flaps and other components according to speed and driving conditions. An adaptive roof spoiler contributes to both efficiency and stability.

Inside, the centrepiece is the curved OLED Flow Display, which extends into the centre console. It is paired with a 14.25-inch digital instrument cluster.

Buyers can also order a separate 14.9-inch display for the front passenger. Together, the screens create the largest digital display area ever installed in a Porsche.

Options include a panoramic roof with adjustable transparency, a communication light strip and heated contact surfaces. The system can warm not only the seats but also the armrests and door panels.

Cayenne Coupé offers up to 669 kilometres of range

The Cayenne Coupé Electric features a sloping roofline inspired by the Porsche 911. Its drag coefficient falls to 0.23, while its maximum WLTP range increases to 669 kilometres.

That is 18 kilometres more than the SUV. Rear luggage capacity ranges from 534 to 1,347 litres, supplemented by a 90-litre front compartment.

The electric Cayenne is available to order from Porsche Centre Almaty and Porsche Centre Astana. From August 12 to 16, participants in Porsche Track Experience Kazakhstan will be able to test the vehicle at the STK Sokol racetrack.

Actual range will depend on battery temperature, weather, speed, specification and driving style. Winter performance will be particularly relevant in Kazakhstan, as freezing temperatures increase energy consumption and can reduce the distance between charging stops.
