Kazakhstan took part in a prominent diplomatic capacity. The country’s Ambassador to Morocco, Saulekul Sailaukyzy, attended the ceremony marking the 27th anniversary of King Mohammed VI’s accession to the throne as Dean of the Asia-Pacific Group of the diplomatic corps, DKNews.kz reports.

During the ceremony, Saulekul Sailaukyzy, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Morocco, conveyed warm congratulations to His Majesty King Mohammed VI on behalf of President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Kazakhstan Represented the Asia-Pacific Diplomatic Group

One of the most notable aspects of the ceremony was the status of the Kazakh diplomat.

Saulekul Sailaukyzy attended the event as Dean of the Asia-Pacific Group of the diplomatic corps.

This gave Kazakhstan’s participation a broader diplomatic dimension: the Kazakh ambassador was present not only as her country’s representative, but also in a senior protocol role within the Asia-Pacific diplomatic community.

For bilateral relations, this also served as an additional diplomatic signal at a time when ties between Kazakhstan and Morocco are becoming increasingly active.

Tokayev Conveyed Congratulations to Mohammed VI

During the ceremony, Sailaukyzy congratulated King Mohammed VI on the national occasion.

She also conveyed warm greetings from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The celebrations marked the 27th anniversary of Mohammed VI’s accession to the throne.

Ceremony Held in M’diq

The official ceremony took place in M’diq.

It was attended by senior Moroccan officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and distinguished guests.

For Kazakhstan, participation in the event came amid a broader expansion of the bilateral agenda with Morocco, including diplomatic, economic, and business cooperation.

The key detail remained Saulekul Sailaukyzy’s status: Kazakhstan was represented not only through its own diplomatic mission, but also at the level of Dean of the Asia-Pacific Group of the diplomatic corps.
