The talks took place during a working visit to Saudi Arabia by Arman Isagaliyev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He met with Abdulrahman Al-Rassi, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kingdom for International Multilateral Affairs.
Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia to Strengthen Coordination on International Platforms
One of the central topics of the meeting was cooperation between the two countries within international and regional organizations.
The sides discussed coordinating their approaches and providing mutual support for the initiatives of Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia on multilateral platforms.
This format takes bilateral relations beyond individual negotiations, with Astana and Riyadh seeking closer coordination on issues of the international agenda.

The diplomats also reviewed the schedule of forthcoming bilateral events at high and top levels.

Arman Isagaliyev and Abdulrahman Al-Rassi also reviewed the current state of Kazakhstan–Saudi Arabia relations.
The sides noted the positive momentum in cooperation based on the principles of friendship and mutually beneficial partnership.
Following the meeting, the foreign ministries of Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia agreed to continue an active and constructive dialogue.
The next practical task has also been outlined: to fill upcoming high-level contacts with concrete agreements while strengthening mutual support for the two countries’ initiatives on international platforms.
