Kazakhstan is seeking partners for water infrastructure. Saudi company Miahona has confirmed its interest in projects in Kazakhstan related to water supply, wastewater systems, and water resource management, DKNews.kz reports.
The prospects for cooperation were discussed by Madiyar Menilbekov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia, and Awad Al-Otaibi, Chief Executive Officer of Miahona.
Miahona Considers Participation in Kazakhstan’s Infrastructure Projects
One of the key topics of the talks was the possible involvement of the Saudi company in infrastructure projects in Kazakhstan.
Miahona specializes in the development, investment, and operation of water supply and wastewater infrastructure. The company works on projects involving water production and distribution, as well as wastewater collection and treatment.
The Saudi side confirmed its interest in cooperation with Kazakhstan and highlighted the potential for joint projects in the water infrastructure sector.
Kazakhstan Seeks Expertise and Investment
Madiyar Menilbekov emphasized Kazakhstan’s interest in expanding cooperation with leading Saudi companies.
The focus is not limited to investment. The Kazakh side is also interested in attracting Saudi technological and management expertise for infrastructure projects.

Following the meeting, the sides agreed to continue dialogue and further explore promising areas of cooperation.
