SPACE DAYS KAZAKHSTAN 2026 to End with a Rocket Launch at Baikonur

Space will come closer for three days. From September 7 to 9, Kazakhstan will host the international SPACE DAYS KAZAKHSTAN 2026 forum, with its final day taking place at Baikonur, where participants will have an additional opportunity to watch a rocket launch, DKNews.kz reports.

The main program will be held on September 7–8 at Nazarbayev University in Astana. The forum will bring together representatives of the space industry, international organizations, business, science and the technology community.

Two days in Astana will focus on technology and the space industry

The SPACE DAYS KAZAKHSTAN 2026 program is built around professional and practical dialogue.

Nazarbayev University will host panel sessions and discussions with leading experts, practical workshops, meetings with cosmonauts, and presentations of new space technologies and solutions.

Participants will also discuss key industry trends and prospects for the development of the global space sector.

International cooperation will receive special attention. The forum is expected to provide a platform for developing new partnerships and discussing joint projects in the space sector.

On September 9, the forum will move from Astana to Baikonur

The most distinctive part of the program is scheduled for the final day.

On September 9, SPACE DAYS KAZAKHSTAN 2026 events will continue at Baikonur. Participants wishing to visit the cosmodrome will be offered an additional flight option from Astana.

The trip will include an opportunity to observe a rocket launch.

Organizers specify that the flight to Baikonur and the opportunity to watch the launch are not included in the main forum program. They will be offered as an additional commercial service for interested participants.

This format takes the event beyond a conventional conference: after professional discussions in Astana, participants will be able to continue the program at one of the world’s best-known spaceports.

Space will bring together business, scientists and international organizations

The forum is aimed not only at scientists and aerospace professionals.

Representatives of business, the technology community and international organizations are also expected to take part. The agenda will focus on new technologies, international cooperation and joint projects capable of connecting participants from different countries.

For Kazakhstan, the format has a direct link to the country’s own space infrastructure: the first two days of professional discussions will take place in the capital, while the final day will move to Baikonur.
