Marathon participants will get more travel options.
FlyArystan is adding extra flights from Almaty and Astana to Turkistan from October 24 to 26 ahead of the Turkistan Marathon 2026, DKNews.kz reports.
The race will take place on October 25, while registered participants can also receive a 30% discount on FlyArystan domestic flights through a personal promo code.
Extra flights from Almaty and Astana
The additional schedule is designed to allow runners to arrive in Turkistan before the marathon and return home after the event.
FlyArystan will operate the following additional flights:
- October 24, Almaty–Turkistan–Almaty: departure from Almaty at 05:15, return from Turkistan at 07:15
- October 24, Astana–Turkistan–Astana: departure from Astana at 05:35, return from Turkistan at 07:50
- October 25, Almaty–Turkistan–Almaty: departure from Almaty at 18:15, return from Turkistan at 20:25
- October 26, Almaty–Turkistan–Almaty: departure from Almaty at 15:20, return from Turkistan at 17:30
Morning departures from Almaty and Astana on October 24 will allow participants to reach Turkistan a day before the race.
Additional return flights on October 25 and 26 give runners more options for traveling home after the marathon.
30% discount for registered runners
FlyArystan is supporting the Turkistan Marathon for the second consecutive year.

3,000 runners joined the marathon in 2025
FlyArystan was the official airline partner of the Turkistan Marathon in 2025.
Last year’s event brought together 3,000 runners from more than 20 countries, highlighting the marathon’s growing international reach.
The continuation of the partnership in 2026 combines additional transport capacity with discounted fares for registered participants.
What is included in the standard fare
FlyArystan’s standard fare includes one piece of hand baggage.
The baggage allowance is:
- Up to 7 kg
- Maximum dimensions of 56 × 23 × 36 cm
