Kazakhstani oil professionals are working in Kuwait. Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, Yerzhan Yelekeyev, visited Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), where he met with compatriots employed in the country’s oil and gas sector, DKNews.kz reports.
During the visit, the diplomat reviewed the working conditions of Kazakhstani specialists and toured the company’s production facilities.
Kazakhstani specialists praised for their qualifications
One of the main topics of the meeting was the work of Kazakhstani citizens in Kuwait’s oil and gas industry.
The sides discussed working conditions and issues of mutual interest. The high qualifications of Kazakhstani specialists and their contribution to Kuwait’s oil and gas sector were highlighted during the meeting.
The presence of compatriots at overseas production facilities also reflects the demand for Kazakhstani professionals beyond the domestic oil and gas market.

The visit was not limited to a meeting with employees.
Representatives of Kuwait Oil Company introduced Yerzhan Yelekeyev to the company’s production facilities and its main areas of activity.
The KOC site also gave the Ambassador an opportunity to speak directly with Kazakhstanis working in a sector that plays a major role in Kuwait’s economy.
Embassy to maintain contact with Kazakhstanis in Kuwait
The meeting also covered cooperation between the diplomatic mission and Kazakhstani citizens living and working abroad.
Yerzhan Yelekeyev stressed the importance of maintaining regular contact with compatriots. The Embassy expressed its readiness to provide them with the necessary consular and informational support.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador thanked the Kazakhstani specialists for their professionalism and for representing the country with distinction abroad, wishing them continued success and well-being.
