Flights to Georgia are getting cheaper.
FlyArystan has launched special fares to Kutaisi from four cities in Kazakhstan, but passengers have only four days to book them, DKNews.kz reports.
The airline announced the promotion on September 10. The offer applies to flights from Almaty, Astana, Atyrau and Aktau.
The 29,000-tenge fare is not available from every city
The lowest fares are being offered to passengers departing from western Kazakhstan.
One-way tickets on the Atyrau–Kutaisi and Aktau–Kutaisi routes start from 29,000 tenge.
For travelers flying from Almaty and Astana, prices are higher. One-way fares on the Almaty–Kutaisi and Astana–Kutaisi routes start from 39,000 tenge.
The discounted tickets can be booked from September 10 through September 13, 2026. The number of seats available at promotional prices is limited.
Tickets are available on the official FlyArystan website and through the airline’s mobile app.
The promotion covers winter travel, but excludes New Year
The special fares apply to flights departing between November 1, 2026 and March 1, 2027.
However, one of the busiest holiday periods is excluded. The promotional fares are not available for travel from December 25, 2026 to January 5, 2027.
That means the lowest prices are primarily aimed at late-autumn and winter trips outside the peak New Year travel window.
The lowest fare includes hand luggage only
Travelers should also consider what is included in the base fare before comparing the final cost of the trip.
FlyArystan’s standard fare includes one piece of cabin baggage weighing up to 7 kg. Its dimensions must not exceed 56 × 23 × 36 cm.
So the advertised 29,000- and 39,000-tenge prices are starting fares for a one-way journey. The total cost may increase if passengers add checked baggage or other paid services.
Why Kutaisi attracts travelers
Kutaisi is one of Georgia’s oldest cities and a major cultural center of the Imereti region.
Located on the Rioni River, the city is known for its historic architecture, surrounding nature and traditional Georgian atmosphere.
Visitors can explore Bagrati Cathedral and Gelati Monastery, walk through the historic center, try Georgian cuisine, or take trips to Prometheus Cave and Okatse Canyon.
For travelers from Kazakhstan, the promotion offers a cheaper way to plan a trip to Georgia between November and early March. The lowest starting fare is available from Aktau and Atyrau at 29,000 tenge one way.
