More than 250 companies and brands are heading to Tashkent. Plastex Uzbekistan 2026 will bring international manufacturers and suppliers together on September 22–24 as Uzbekistan’s growing plastics and polymer industry drives demand for equipment, raw materials and new production technologies, DKNews.kz reports.

The 16th International Exhibition on the Plastics and Polymers Industry will take place at the Uzexpocentre NEC. Companies and brands from Austria, Germany, India, Iran, Italy, China, Latvia, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Uzbekistan have confirmed their participation.

The exhibition is organized by Iteca Exhibitions together with its partner ICA Eurasia Group.

Global manufacturers head to Tashkent

Every autumn, Plastex Uzbekistan brings together equipment manufacturers, raw material suppliers, processors, engineers and industry executives.

The exhibition focuses on technologies and materials used throughout the plastics and polymer production chain.

Visitors will be able to explore:

  • plastics production and processing equipment;
  • polymer raw materials and specialty additives;
  • moulds and dies;
  • auxiliary equipment;
  • packaging technologies;
  • recycling solutions.

The professional format is one of the event’s main features. Industry specialists can see machinery in operation, consult directly with company representatives and discuss technical requirements with manufacturers and suppliers.

New exhibitors bring European and Turkish technologies

A number of companies will present their technologies to Uzbek industry professionals for the first time.

Germany’s Koenig & Bauer Kammann GmbH specializes in fully automated screen-printing equipment used to decorate plastic containers and has more than 70 years of experience in the sector.

Italian company Definitive Innovation will present solutions for dosing, mixing, filtration, storage, pneumatic conveying and industrial automation.

Another Italian participant, PLAS MEC S.R.L., specializes in mixing systems for PVC, plastics, masterbatches, powder coatings and engineering plastics.

Türkiye’s TERMOKAR MAKİNA will showcase chillers and heat-exchange technologies designed for industries including plastics, rubber, pharmaceuticals, medical production, food manufacturing and automotive production.

Uzbekistan’s domestic industry will be represented by NOVOPLAST TPE, a manufacturer of thermoplastic elastomers and products based on them.

Four industries come together under one roof

Since 2025, Plastex Uzbekistan has been held alongside 4P Central Asia, bringing together four interconnected sectors: printing, packaging, plastics and polymers.

The concept is designed around the complete production cycle, allowing businesses to examine technologies ranging from polymer materials and processing to printing and finished packaging during a single visit. The organizers describe 4P Central Asia as a B2B platform connecting these industries and expect more than 250 companies to participate.

The combined format also reflects how closely these sectors are linked. A plastics processor, for example, may need not only polymer feedstock and production machinery but also packaging, printing, labelling and recycling technologies.

Uzbekistan’s industrial market attracts suppliers

The exhibition comes as the chemical and polymer industry remains an important part of Uzbekistan’s industrial modernization.

Growing polymer production and processing create demand for modern machinery, raw materials and technologies. For foreign manufacturers, the exhibition therefore provides an opportunity to assess demand in Uzbekistan, discuss localization and exports, and establish direct contacts with industrial enterprises.

The previous edition showed the scale of industry interest. Plastex Uzbekistan 2025 brought together 250 companies and brands from 10 countries and attracted more than 5,700 visitors, including 4,225 industry professionals. The exhibition area expanded by 19% compared with the previous year.

For official delegations and investors, the event also offers a way to assess the trade and investment potential of Uzbekistan’s polymer sector while comparing local demand with technologies offered by international manufacturers.

Three days focused on industry professionals

Plastex Uzbekistan 2026 will run for three days at Uzexpocentre NEC.

The exhibition will be open from 10:00 to 17:00 on September 22 and 23, and from 10:00 to 16:00 on September 24. During all three days, admission is primarily intended for industry professionals and people working in related sectors.

The official program also includes an opening ceremony and a tour involving officials and representatives of diplomatic missions.

The event comes amid broader efforts across Central Asia to move further into petrochemical processing and higher-value production. A few weeks ago, DKNews.kz reported that Kazakhstan’s KMG PetroChem had presented two potential projects with Uzbekistan, including production of terephthalic acid and polyethylene terephthalate, or PET.
