Kazakhstan’s EasyTap and Uzbekistan’s Verifix announced plans on September 30, 2026, to establish joint ventures in both countries, linking employee scheduling with on-demand staffing. According to the companies, their existing platforms collectively serve more than 700 business clients, with over 500,000 registered gig workers and more than 85,000 employees managed through their systems, DKNews.kz reports.
The first joint customers are expected in the fourth quarter of 2026. The combined product aims to help employers fill vacant shifts faster while giving workers a verified record of their experience and potential routes into regular employment.
Filling gaps with three hours to go
For retailers, restaurants, warehouses and manufacturers, staffing needs can change within hours. An employee calls in sick, someone leaves, or customer demand exceeds expectations. Managers then have to find cover at short notice.
The proposed integration would bring that search into the scheduling process. Verifix would analyse workloads and forecast how many people each location needs at a particular time. When existing employees cannot cover the schedule, EasyTap would connect the business with vetted, self-employed workers.
EasyTap says it fills more than 90% of urgent staffing requests on average, including requests submitted just three hours before a shift starts. That is the platform’s own reported performance, rather than a result achieved by the planned joint product.
The partners intend to combine scheduling, time tracking, payments and workforce analytics in one interface, covering both employees and external workers.
Where employers could save
Verifix estimates that accurate time tracking saves its clients around 5% of payroll costs, while aligning shifts with actual demand can deliver a further 10–15% in savings. These are company estimates cited in the partnership announcement, rather than guaranteed outcomes for individual employers.
The EasyTap integration is intended to add a practical next step: finding people to cover the staffing gaps that the software identifies. EasyTap lists logistics operator Zammler, MagnumGo, Adidas and Uzbek supermarket chain Korzinka among its clients.
“Payroll accounts for a substantial share of any company’s costs, and every day we see businesses hiring and managing their workforce inefficiently. Verifix will now not only identify where people are needed but, through its partnership with EasyTap, help bring them in. This is the first step towards enabling businesses across Central Asia to manage their entire workforce—both employees and flexible workers—in one system,” said Mumin Salimov, co-founder and CEO of Verifix.
A work history that follows the worker
For workers, the partners plan to introduce a digital record of verified shifts alongside an individual rating. They describe this as a “digital employment record”, although the proposal concerns work history held within the platform; it has not been established as a replacement for official employment documentation.
The companies envisage workers gaining access to higher earnings as their experience and skills develop. For people entering the labour market, the proposed offering includes paid internships with opportunities to move into staff positions.
Another stated objective is to make flexible work easier to track by recording it alongside regular employment.
“Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are allies at the state level. We are doing the same at the technology-company level, and here one plus one equals three: two products, two markets and one labour infrastructure for Central Asia. For millions of people, this means their work—whether regular or flexible—becomes visible, recorded and protected. Local teams will lead in each market
EasyTap will lead development of the combined product in Kazakhstan, while Verifix will lead in Uzbekistan. The partners plan to share further details over the coming months.
EasyTap describes itself as a Kazakhstan-based platform connecting businesses with self-employed workers for hourly shifts. According to the company, it operates in more than 50 cities across Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, has over 500,000 registered users and serves more than 250 business clients in retail, hospitality, light manufacturing and agriculture. It also says it acts as a tax agent for payments to workers.
Verifix provides workforce-management software for businesses with large frontline teams. Its offering covers recruitment, employee records, shift planning, time tracking, payroll and staff development.
In the partnership announcement, Verifix reports serving more than 480 organisations across over 5,000 locations, with more than 85,000 employees in five countries. Those figures describe its existing operations; the first customers of the joint EasyTap–Verifix product are scheduled to come on board between October and December 2026.
