Kazakhstan-based low-cost airline FlyArystan has launched a 20% discount on selected domestic routes while supporting a major active ageing festival in Almaty, DKNews.kz reports.
The promotion was announced in connection with the International Day of Older Persons, observed on October 1.
20% discount is available to passengers of all ages
Passengers can receive a 20% discount on selected domestic FlyArystan routes in Kazakhstan by using the promo code KURMET.
The key restriction is the booking period. Tickets must be purchased on October 1 or 2, 2026 through the official FlyArystan website or the airline’s mobile app.
Despite being launched for the International Day of Older Persons, the promotion is not limited to senior travelers. FlyArystan says the promo code can be used by passengers of all ages, although the discount applies only to selected domestic destinations.
Full terms and conditions are available through the airline’s official channels.
More than 700 people joined Almaty’s Longevity Festival
The airline announced the initiative alongside the 4th Longevity Festival, held in Almaty on October 1.
The event was organized by the Almaty Active Longevity Center, which operates under the city’s Employment and Social Programs Department.
More than 700 older residents took part, alongside creative groups, representatives of social institutions, active longevity centers and other city organizations.
The festival program included an arts and crafts exhibition, an official opening ceremony and a concert featuring creative groups from the Almaty Active Longevity Center.
Festival participants received domestic flight certificates
FlyArystan joined the event as a partner and provided certificates for flights within Kazakhstan, which were awarded to festival participants.
Through its participation, the airline said it aimed to support initiatives encouraging an active and socially engaged lifestyle among older people.
FlyArystan is a wholly owned subsidiary of Air Astana. The airline received its own air operator certificate in April 2024 and operates Airbus A320 aircraft on domestic and international routes, with bases in Almaty, Astana and Aktau.
We have previously covered special offers and airline promotions available to travelers in Kazakhstan. Travelers planning to use KURMET should check the latest conditions on the FlyArystan website, as the booking window is limited to October 1–2, 2026.
