Leadership is the ability to deliver extraordinary results from ordinary people. Today, more than ever, our society is in need of leaders - forward-thinking, courageous, capable of pushing new horizons, discovering new ones.
Recently, at the end of July, our first group of lucky ones, 40 teachers, staff and the best student activists from the Kazakh National University named after I. Al-Farabi managed to spend an unforgettable vacation on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul ... Students not only improve their health in the resort area, but also attend developmental trainings prepared by teachers of the Department of General and Applied Psychology Z.B. Madalieva, Z.M. Sadvakasova, where the basic skills that are necessary for every leader were laid.
In these days of rapid growth of information, leaders are distinguished by the fact that followers choose them voluntarily. This requires even greater preparedness, charisma, responsibility and courage from future leaders. Leadership training is a confident part of the business culture both in our country and abroad. When the training takes place surrounded by delightful nature, high mountain ranges, spruce forests, a unique mountain lake, the acquired knowledge, skills and abilities are acquired even more intensively and firmly. It is also important that during the trip, students from different faculties, and the faculty of philosophy and political science, and chemistry, and biology, and geography and others, felt like one friendly close-knit team, received an incentive for successful study and active social activities during the academic year.
Blue lake, clean transparent air, clear outlines of mountains - everything seems to our heroes entertaining and magical. From the very morning, you can already hear the singing of coastal birds, when you walk along the alley straight to the shore of the lake. Hundreds of ripe sea buckthorn bushes and flowering heather attract early vacationers to a morning walk. Every day, from 6 in the morning, the beach of the health camp of KazNU named after al-Farabi is full of activists ready to make the first swims. Here nature seems to call for freedom, for new achievements, it gives wings, and you seem to be flying over the transparent, slightly bluish surface of the lake. Students activists of KazNU not only rested in the arms of the beautiful nature of the fabulous Lake Issyk-Kul, tempered their health, but also participated in specially organized programs to spend every moment interestingly. The talented youth of our university showed their skills: they sang songs, danced to music, recited poetry. Curators-advisers conducted training seminars on the development of communication and leadership qualities, effective use of time.
I am confident that such a rare combination of sea and mountain climates will not only have a positive effect on the health of travelers, but will also give them a new boost of energy for a stunning start to the new school year. Our trip to the health camp on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul will be remembered for a long time. These were wonderful days filled with real adventures and memorable events. I am very grateful to the organizers - the workers of the trade union of my native university and the rector Zhanseit Kanseitovich Tuimebayev for the opportunity to be part of a large and friendly team! We all had a wonderful rest, motivated and ready for productive work!
