On the eve of the Day of Abai, the publishing house "Kazakh University" announced an online competition among young people under 30, in the form of a quiz based on the work of the great poet-thinker, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
The purpose of the competition is to popularize the creativity of Abai Kunanbayev, to strengthen the respect of young people for the Kazakh people, and to increase a sense of patriotism.
We received answers from 30 participants, 10 of whom correctly answered all the questions about Abai's work. It was not easy for us to determine the winner among 10 participants who answered correctly. The jury paid attention to how the answer was drawn up, to its content, and also took into account the age of the participant.
According to the results of the competition, Sman Zhansaya from Aktau took the first place. The second - Nesipbek Akzere from the village of Suiksay, Aksu district of the Almaty region, and the third place went to Kairat Actor from the Zhigergen rural district of the Kazygurt district of the Turkestan region. In addition, a special prize was awarded to the youngest participant - Dastan Maksatov.
