On 2 September 2021, H.E. Mr. Berik Aryn, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia, met with H.E. Mr. Fahad Abualnasr, the Deputy Foreign Minister for Public Diplomacy Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of expanding and deepening bilateral cooperation in the cultural, humanitarian, scientific, and educational spheres.
In particular, they exchanged views on the possibility of holding Culture days of Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia after overcoming the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic in the two countries. Diplomats also reviewed the issue of making the film «The Ambassador», which will cover the life and work of the famous Kazakh diplomat Nazir Torekulov.
In addition, the Ambassador briefed on the main highlights of the State of the Nation Address of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev entitled «Unity of the people and systemic reforms are a solid foundation for the country's prosperity» aimed at the development of education, healthcare system and social support of the population, as well as informed on other measures taken in the country to develop science, culture, and sports.
In turn, H.E. Mr. Fahad Abualnasr noted the importance of enhancing cultural and humanitarian ties, interaction in promoting the interfaith dialogue, cooperation in the scientific and educational spheres to further strengthening friendly ties between the two nations.
