Kazakhstan’s low cost airline (LLC) FlyArystan on the International Aviation Day is pleased to share results in human resource development. Since the start of operating FlyArystan has created more than 500 jobs in the main cities – Almaty, Nur-Sultan, as well as in regions – Atyrau, Aktau and Shymkent where LLC has based. Apart from company itself, FlyArystan positively affected on job creations in airports, tourist sector – hotels, cafes, shops and etc. This became possible owing to increased passenger traffic to 600 percent in Kazakhstani cities, Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
The majority of employment is flight attendance (258 employees as of December 1, 2021) who have started their career in aviation with FlyArystan. In less than 3 years of operations, 15 groups of newcomers have studied 6-weeks initial cabin crew course in Air Astana training academy. The primary responsibilities of cabin crew staff are not only providing safety and service on board, but also organization of first aid in case of necessity. Besides, cabin crew as their colleagues in Air Astana has annual trainings for qualification maintenance on regular basis.
The fleet of FlyArystan consists of 10 Airbus A320 aircraft operated by professional pilots with average 10-12 years of experience in aviation. As FlyArystan is a division of Air Astana group, the airlines have a single crew staff. Consequently, both carriers operate according to holistic safety and service standards. Pilots as cabin crew have regular trainings and rotation among regional bases. This provides the maintenance of high level of service and safety on any carrier’s flight as well as to cost optimization.
FlyArystan is creating employment not only in regions with base but also in cities where LCC flies. For example, LCC launched flights in Turkistan in December 2020 and since that period, 11 locals were recruited for work in aviation.
FlyArystan has been recognized as the best LCC in Kazakhstan and one of the top-five airlines in Central Asia. Skytrax, the world’s leading aviation rating body, recognized FlyArystan’s commitment to great service and low fares. Skytrax is based on customer feedback and represent a global benchmark of excellence.
According to the Civil Aviation agency of Georgia, FlyArystan is the only Kazakh carrier that has been recognized one of the top 10 airlines serving increased number of passengers to/from Georgia in 2021.
