Sagintay Berdagulova, a leading researcher of the Special Projects Service, began the lesson by citing the Constitutional Law "On State Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan" dated December 16, 1991: "The Supreme Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, expressing the will of the people of Kazakhstan, recognizing the priority of individual rights and freedoms enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, confirming the right of the Kazakh nation to self-determination, proceeding from the determination to create a civil society and the rule of law, conducting a peaceful foreign policy, declaring its commitment to the principle of nuclear nonproliferation and the disarmament process, solemnly proclaims the state independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan", Delovoy Kazakhstan reports.
A brief history tour was given to participants. They learned about the important events for the national history, which preceded gaining sovereignty by the Kazakh people in its centuries-long struggle for the right to be masters of their land and their destiny. These facts are united by one common idea, the essence of which is the manifestation of the national spirit, the rise of national consciousness and the desire to build and revive statehood. And the personalities of historical figures who became the main actors of those distant and close events - the willingness to defend the right to respect for national dignity and protect the Kazakh land's state and territorial integrity.
The lecturer emphasized the stages of the 30-year path of Independence of Kazakhstan, achievements and problems, outlined the goals and objectives defined by the Head of State K.K. Tokayev.
